Ms. Wilson has been Laboratory Supervisor for Cultural Resource Analysts,
Inc. since joining the company in 1997. As Laboratory Supervisor Ms. Wilson's
primary responsibility is to supervise the in-house laboratory staff of full
and part time employees as well as student interns. Her duties include all
aspects of artifact processing, analysis and cataloguing, and daily maintenance
of site records as well as curation. In addition, she is also responsible for
specialized analysis of historic artifacts and the write up of these analyses.
To date Ms. Wilson has supervised the processing and curation of over 100 projects
and performed specialized ceramic analysis on artifacts from five major mitigation
projects (McConnell Station, Higbee Tavern, Monterey, Argosy Casino, Clovelly).
In addition to her experience with historic and prehistoric artifacts, Ms.
Wilson has training and experience with human skeletal remains. This work has
included analysis of prehistoric osteological material as well as identification
of cemetery boundaries in the field through subsurface investigations.

Prior to joining Cultural Resource Analysts, Inc. Ms. Wilson worked on a number and variety of projects. She has field experience on survey, testing, and mitigation or major excavation projects, working on a variety of prehistoric and historic sites and has served as both a field lab and in-house laboratory supervisor. Ms. Wilson attended field school through the University of Kentucky and investigated archaeological deposits at Shakertown at Pleasant Hill (historic) and the Croley-Evans Site (15Kx24) (prehistoric). She received her B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Kentucky in 1995. During the course of her archaeological career Ms. Wilson has presented papers at regional conferences and has co-authored four publications.
