Lovella Learned Kennedy has over ten years of experience in archaeology with seven years utilizing GIS applications.Originally from Oklahoma where she obtained a BA in History at Oklahoma St., she moved to Colorado to attend graduate school in Anthropology/Archaeology. Her thesis work is with the settlement patterns of the Apishapa located in southeastern Colorado. Most of her archaeological experience has been in Colorado and the surrounding areas, but has also worked in Puerto Rico.
Ms. Learned Kennedy and her husband, Richard, moved to the eastern plains of Colorado five years ago and enjoy rural living with their two young sons, Cole and Scott. Her personal interests include fishing and gardening.
