RaSonda Smith has 16 years of experience in finance and accounting. RaSonda has been employed with CRA since 1998. During this time, she has served as the full-charge Bookkeeper, Senior Accountant, and currently as the Chief Financial Officer.
Born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky, RaSonda currently lives in her hometown with her two dogs, Charlie and Princess Lillie Prisspot. RaSonda has worked as a volunteer for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the Bluegrass and for the National Kidney Foundation. RaSonda’s love for numbers led her to major and obtain her bachelor's degree in accounting at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky.
RaSonda has been active in athletics all her life. During school, RaSonda played and participated in gymnastics, softball, basketball, and track. As an adult, RaSonda plays recreational soccer year-round and runs in occasional 5k and 10k races in the Lexington area. Throughout the summer, RaSonda enjoys boating on Lake Cumberland in the company of good friends, family, and books.
RaSonda’s responsibilites have grown as CRA has grown. She is responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations from general ledger transactions and payroll to accounts payable and receivable. RaSonda also manages financial forecasting and ensures that CRA stays in compliance with various federal and state agencies.
