Justin Morrison

Justin Morrison graduated from Hocking College in December, 2006, having received an Associates Degree in Archaeology.  While at Hocking, Justin participated in phase I, II, and III archaeological investigations, and worked in the lab conducting analysis of historic and prehistoric materials.

Justin began working with CRA in 2006. He functioned as a field technician and site photographer while working on phase II and III excavations on several sites (12D363, 12D506, 12D508, 12D509, 12D520, 12D567, 12D569, 12D570, 12D578-580, 12D582, 12D583, 12D585, and 12D586) associated with the Argosy Casino project in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.  Since that time he has worked with CRA as a Field Technician in West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and Kentucky.  The bulk of his work experience comes from participation in numerous phase I archaeological surveys, but he has also assisted in more extensive phase II and III excavations in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, and West Virginia, providing help with block excavation, rock shelter excavation, and cemetery relocation.

Outside of archaeology, Justin enjoys playing a multitude of different instruments including: acoustic, electric, and slide guitar, bass guitar, banjo, mandolin, and harmonica.  He enjoys outdoor activities like fishing, hiking, and camping, but is most happy just spending time with family.
