George Arnold has more than 21 years of archaeological field experience in the midwestern, southeastern, and southwestern United States. His extensive experience includes supervising field surveys, authoring technical reports, and excavating historic and prehistoric archaeological sites. George’s research interests include the history of Appalachia, Native American peoples, and national religious institutions. Mr. Arnold has a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree with an emphasis in human resource management and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with a major in social science studies. His hobbies include genealogical research and watching college basketball and football.
George joined the CRA staff in 2001 with primary duties as a field supervisor and report author. He has supervised various archaeological and cultural resource surveys that include cellular tower, coal, U. S. Forest Service, and Kentucky Transportation Cabinet projects.
